Step 2: Process

Step 2 asks how this Force should operate. You choose a playbook: the ordered steps the team runs for every case.

What you will do

  1. Pick a playbook

Under Suggested you see up to three playbook templates as cards, plus a Start from scratch card. Click one to select it. The default is Managed Research Crew. Click the (i) on a card to read what the template does.

  2. Browse every playbook (optional)

If there are more than three templates, click Browse all N playbooks. A drawer titled Playbooks opens with a search box. Choose a playbook, then click Done.

  3. Check the flow

Under The flow you see the engine steps the playbook will run. Click any node to see its kind, which role runs it, and a description. The tag shows how many steps there are.

Screenshot to add: The flow diagram with one step expanded to show its details.
  4. Edit steps (optional)

Click Edit steps to open the Force's Work tab, where you can add, remove, reorder and retype steps. You can also do this after setup.

  5. Continue

Click Shared knowledge. If you changed the playbook, a dialog asks Change this process? and warns that it "replaces the current playbook and its per-step settings". Click Change process to confirm. A toast says Process saved.
