Nexus Home
Nexus Home is your AI workforce dashboard. It answers three questions at a glance: how many Forces and AI employees you have, what needs your decision, and what your teams recently finished.
Open Nexus Home
Click Nexus at the top of the left sidebar. It is the first row, and you need Nexus chat access to see it. For most Nexus users it is also the page you land on after signing in.
The page, top to bottom
Header
The title is Your AI workforce. Beneath it a summary line reads, for example, 3 Forces · 7 AI employees. When something is waiting on you it continues with · 2 decisions need your attention.
- The Force count includes drafts. The Active Forces tile below does not, so the two numbers can differ.
- + New Force at the top right opens the setup wizard. See Workforce Creation. The button only appears if you have Nexus chat access.
Attention banner
When one or more decisions are waiting for you, a banner appears under the header.
- Title:
1 decision needs your attentionorN decisions need your attention. - Detail line: the Force and the action for the first item, such as
Customer Operations · Send reply, plusand N morewhen there are others. - Review in Approvals takes you to the Approvals page to decide.
- × (Dismiss) hides the banner for the rest of your browser session. It comes back if the number of waiting decisions changes.
Decisions come from connector actions waiting for approval, desktop approvals, and questions a team asked a person to answer.
Workforce at a glance
Four tiles summarise your workforce. They refresh automatically about every 30 seconds and show a pulsing placeholder while loading.
| Tile | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Active Forces | Forces that are Operating. Drafts and archived Forces are not counted |
| AI Employees | Active members across the Forces you can see |
| Working Now | Runs that are in progress (pending, running, synthesizing, critiquing or acting). A run paused for a person is not counted here |
| Outcomes Today | Runs completed since midnight UTC today |
Your Forces
Your teams appear as cards. This is the same list as the Nexus Agent Force page, limited here to one row of up to two cards.
Find the Force you want
- Tabs: Active (n), Drafts (n) and Archived (n). Active means operating and not archived. Counts follow your search.
- Search Forces: type to filter by name, mission or description.
- Sort: Sort: Last activity (default), Sort: Name or Sort: Newest. Pinned Forces always come first.
- Carousel: if there are more cards than fit, use the arrows (Previous Forces / Next Forces), the page dots, or the keyboard (Left/Right arrows, Page Up/Down, Home, End). A range such as
1–2 of 5shows where you are.
Anatomy of a Force card
Status and markers
A pill shows Operating, Draft or Archived. A pin icon marks a pinned Force. A Shared marker means a teammate shared it with you: you can open it, but only the owner can manage it.
Name, mission and project
The card shows the Force's name and a one-line mission. An operating Force with no mission shows "No mission set yet — open the Force to add one." If the Force belongs to a project, its name appears on a
▸line.People or progress
Operating and archived cards list AI Employees (N) as up to two chips with a role and either Idle or Working on N. More members show as +N more, and "No one hired yet." appears if none are hired.
Draft cards show a progress bar, Setup N of 4, across Purpose, Process, Team and Staffed, plus what staffing is still missing.
Screenshot placeholderScreenshot to add: An operating Force card and a draft Force card side by side. Metrics and link
Operating cards end with Working, Completed Today and Needs Approval (highlighted when above zero). The link reads Open Force →, Continue setup → for drafts, or View → for archived Forces. Clicking anywhere on the card opens the Force. Continue setup reopens the wizard (see Workforce Creation).
Manage a Force from the ⋯ menu
The ⋯ menu (labelled "Actions for (name)") appears only on Forces you own. Shared Forces get no menu.
| Menu item | Available on | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Pin / Unpin | Active and draft Forces | Toast "Force pinned" or "Force unpinned". Pinned Forces sort first |
| Archive | Active and draft Forces | Toast "Force archived". The Force moves to the Archived tab |
| Restore | Archived Forces | Toast "Force restored" |
| Delete | All | Asks "Delete this Force?" then removes it permanently. Toast "Force deleted" |
What you see when the list is empty or fails
| Situation | Message |
|---|---|
| Loading | Skeleton cards |
| Could not load | "Couldn't load your Forces". This is a loading problem, not an empty list. Click Try again |
| No Forces at all | "No Forces yet", with a New Force button |
| Search matches nothing | No Forces match “(search)”. |
| Empty Archived tab | "No archived Forces" |
| Empty Drafts tab | "No drafts — every Force you have started is operating." |
| Empty Active tab | "No operating Forces yet — finish a draft to put it to work." |
| Live numbers unavailable | Cards still show, with a note that live numbers will fill in when they load |
Workforce activity
A feed of up to eight rows, newest first, mixing two kinds of item:
- Decisions waiting on you. Identical requests in one Force are combined, for example
Send reply ×3. The sub-line reads Waiting for your decision, with stale added once the oldest is over seven days old. A row opens the Force (for a question) or the Approvals page. - Finished runs. Titled
(playbook name) — completed, with the sub-line Finished run. A row opens that run's result page.
Each row also shows the Force name and a time (a clock time today, otherwise a short date such as "Jul 4").
If nothing has happened yet it says "Nothing yet — finished runs and decisions waiting on you show up here." If it fails to load you see "Activity couldn't be loaded right now." with a Try again button.
Which Forces appear, and who can change them
- Home shows your own Forces plus Forces bound to a shared project you belong to. Archived Forces are left out of the tile numbers but appear on the Archived tab.
- Only the owner can pin, archive, restore or delete a Force.
- Anyone signed in can open the page, but + New Force in the header needs Nexus chat access.
