Learned Rules
Learned Rules lists the memories Nexus built from the documents in your knowledge bases. You can read them and tell Nexus to forget any of them.
The page says: "Memories Nexus learned from your Knowledge Base documents — as opposed to memories saved explicitly during chat. Scroll to load more; use the × on a card to forget it."
Open the page
Click Settings → Learned Rules in the Nexus sidebar (/nexus/settings/learned-rules). You need Nexus admin permission. Without it you see Access Denied ("You do not have the required permissions to access this page (nexus.admin)…") and a Return home button.
How these memories are created
When a document is added to a knowledge base, Nexus reads it, splits it into passages and indexes it so it can be searched. In the background it also saves the document's content as a memory, so it can be recalled in later work. Those memories are what you see here. Because they come from document uploads, a quiet knowledge base gives a quiet page.
The list
- The heading is Learned Rules, with the label "derived from your knowledge base".
- Cards load 20 at a time. Scroll to the bottom and the next page loads ("Loading more…").
- Each card shows the memory text, cut short. Click a card to expand it. Only one is open at a time.
- Under the text: the source and how long ago, for example "just now", "5m ago", "3h ago" or "2d ago".
- The list is your own memories across all your projects. It is not an organization view.
- Empty: "No knowledge-base-derived memories yet."
There is no loading spinner on first load, so the empty message may show for a moment. There is no error message either: if the list cannot load, it looks the same as empty.
Forget a memory
Hover over a card and click the × (Forget).
Deleting here also removes the memory from the Memory section in Chat, since both read the same list.
